I believe eating food should be just as delightful to your taste buds as it is to nourishing your body.

i believe in balance.

Can I just say, in my twenty-somethin’ journey, food has been everything. I am a Clinical Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN, LDN) working in an ICU of the largest hospital in Washington, D.C. by day and a Food Photographer, Recipe Developer and Founder of Roots Reboot by night... with time to spare for long runs (bumpin’ Drake on repeat), eating out at only D.C.’s finest and socializing with some amazing friends of course.

My nutrition story dates back to being a UNCW Division I athlete where food at that time was mainly fuel for my next two-a day practice or weekend soccer game. After I quickly discovered I could major in food (aka dietetics) I was completely sold. I transferred to Virginia Tech and never looked back.

Through college, my perceived notions of food changed to really understanding the medicinal capabilities it has on the human body. After graduating, I remained loyal to my forever love of food and knew all I wanted to do was help make people feel their best and optimize their health to its greatest potential while enjoying every bite along the way.

I now work in one of the most renowned hospitals in D.C. and have learned the ins and outs of clinical therapeutic diets for hospitalized acute care patients. Although I appreciate and value the foundation of nutrition education the clinical setting, my heart has always been in preventative nutrition and lifestyle change. My nutrition story is only getting started and Roots Reboot is the authentic platform I was always searching for.

So that's me -

a girl in love with food,

excited to help you get to the ROOT of your health and REBOOT your life.

Hear what Clients are saying

“The Reboot program gave me a reason to focus for a specific period of time. Three months was just the right amount of time that I needed to change habits. If my intent had been to do this longer, I am not sure I would have done it as intently. As it was, the transitions were remarkably easy.  I had an excellent report on annual physical. All labs good. Substantial change in diet, finding it remarkable easy to shift. ”

  • T.B. 90-Day Lifestyle Wellness Program

“My biggest win is my approach to food and eating. Before the program I always felt like I was either losing weight or putting it on, never maintaining a good steady healthy approach. The program has total changed that for me.”

  • CL, 90-day Lifestyle Wellness Program

“I feel a lot better about my relationship with food and actually have confidence in my ability to sustain this way of eating. I'm more mindful and more in tune with my body. It feels really good to no longer hate the way I look in photos - which is a big deal when I look at pictures of me with my son, in particular. Clothes fit better, I feel lighter. Starting weight was 172, currently at 153.4!”
